I will be, forever disappointed that Revelations did nothing to fill in the blanks of Altair’s life, he got a measly half an hour in the entire game that just copied ‘the Secret Crusade. This was Altair’s final game his final ‘Revelation’ and he won’t get another one.

And no one seems to understand that I am genuinely upset over this because he is my favourite assassin, rather than EZIO who hogs all the glory, again, as he has done for THREE GAMES!

Do not misunderstand me, I like Ezio I always have but not a single Ezio fan will understand how it feels to NOT be satisfied by Revelations because Ezio gets 65% of the game to himself.

I would rather have waited another YEAR for Revelations than for them to take the cheap route with Altair, which they did, and you can’t deny they did not; they copied the plot from ‘the Secret Crusade’ a book that was out almost a YEAR before Revelations, so any assassins creed fan who read that piece of shit (In my opinion) Would find no surprises to be had about Altair’s past, no secrets they did not already know, and they could have done so much better.

In short I haven’t touched the game since I finished it, not even for multi player, I don’t think I will for a while, in a way I am MOURNING for Altair, because soon he’ll be one of those video game characters who is long forgotten and brushed aside for ‘better assassins’

I’m sure Ezio won’t quite have the same fate, seen as he had more games.

I’m sorry if I sound bitter towards Ezio fans but I just discussed this shit to FOUR of my friends, all of whom are assassins creed fans all who love Ezio and not ONE of them were sympathetic, in fact they defended Ubisoft and said it was just ‘one of those things’ or ‘they were rushing for time’ or ‘Altair isn’t as popular as Ezio so he didn’t get as much screen time’

BULLSHIT!

Altair is JUST as popular as Ezio! Just fucking look at Deviantart!, They could have some something more ORIGINAL with the measely time they gave to Altair rather than copy patse it from the secret Crusade! and if they were rushing for time they should have extended the deadline by six months! I could have waited!

IF DUKE NUKEM FANS CAN WAIT THIRTEEN FUCKING YEARS FOR DUKE NUKEM FOREVER, AC FANS CAN WAIT SIX BLOODY MONTHS!

*Takes a deep breath* I am now torn between expectantly waiting for AC3 and not wanting to see what’s next at all.

My love for AC almost died along with Altair (Which BTW was the ONLY thing they did RIGHT with Altair’s story, and was the only thing that was ORIGINAL)

I’d ask people to reblog this if they cared about the fact that Revelations didn’t give enough back story to Altair and gave most of it to Ezio, again. But I don’t know if anyone will.
